Our Commitment to Our Community

At the Scott Brown Group, our investment in the Denton County community runs deep. We’re dedicated to supporting local residents and business owners, building lasting relationships that strengthen our shared future. Hosting and participating in community events is one of the highlights of what we do, as it allows us to connect, celebrate, and give back to the place we’re proud to call home.

Mental Health Awareness Event

One of our biggest community events this past year was our Mental Health Awareness Event, held on May 17th on Denton Square! This free, public event brought together engaging activities, delicious food, and free merchandise alongside invaluable mental health resources for Denton County residents. Thanks to an amazing lineup of sponsors and partners, we were able to make this event a resounding success for the community!

Random Acts of Kindness

One of the highlights of this year’s community events was hosting our second annual Random Acts of Kindness. This special initiative allowed us to give back to those who make our community shine, including the dedicated teachers at Lamar Middle School in Flower Mound, the compassionate staff at Corinth Rehabilitation Suites on the Parkway, and the hardworking Starbucks employees who brighten our mornings. It’s always an honor to show appreciation for the individuals who make such a meaningful impact in our daily lives.

NTX FallenPD Tribute Event

Another team favorite is the annual NTX Fallen PD Tribute Event each October, hosted by the Highland Village Police Department. This meaningful event raises funds for the families of fallen officers while fostering a strong sense of community support. We always love visiting the station and seeing Ollie, the beloved service pup, who always adds a special touch to the experience!
